About the Center
Since 1983, the Center has worked with thousands of families and couples going through the divorce process. Our mediations and trainings are the culmination of our experience and our approach to the field of divorce mediation.

Training Programs
Since 1987, the Center for Mediation & Training has offered basic and advanced training courses in divorce mediation. Our 42-hour Basic Training in Divorce Mediation has been approved by the Association for Conflict Resolution as a 40-hour comprehensive divorce mediation training. Completion of basic training may be applied toward partial fulfillment of the requirements for Practitioner Membership in ACR. Basic Training also includes two hours of introduction to Domestic Violence issues, as required by both the Association for Conflict Resolution and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.
