Why should you choose mediation?

Save Time & Money

In New York state, the average cost of a divorce without children is $17,100, and $25,600 with children.* Attorney fees, which can be kept to a minimum in mediation, account for the majority of this cost.

While the amount of time needed to complete the process varies depending on a family’s situation, mediation is widely recognized as being one of the most efficient and affordable ways to get divorced.

Protect Your Children from Conflict

Are you concerned about how your divorce will affect your kids? The most important thing that you can do for your children’s well-being is to minimize their exposure to your conflict.

Long-term studies show that mediation significantly reduces court involvement, improves parent-to-parent communication, and is linked to better outcomes for children up to 12 years after their parents’ separation.**

Customize Your Agreement

Mediation empowers couples to develop tailor-made agreements that meet their unique needs and interests.

Clients maintain control throughout the process, taking ownership of the decisions that will affect their lives moving forward, rather than simply entrusting such matters to lawyers or judges.
